department of Education mission is to
facilitate higher education access and
services by providing exemplary customer
attention, comprehensive financial aid
information, and convenient and efficient
products. Their Office of Student Financial
Assistance offers around 20 separate grant
programs along with providing access to many
other private grants, loans, and
scholarships. |

Governor's new
Talented Twenty program is a
need based program giving eligible students
guaranteed admission into one of the state's
11 public universities as well as placing
them on priority funding for the Florida
student assistance grant. |

University of Florida
automatically reduces the tuition of the top
50 out-of-state freshman by $2,500. |
